Carne Asada Tacos

Ingredients:

-         1 pound, Flank Steak

-         1/8 cup, Soy Sauce

-         2 Tbsp, Oso Rojo Umami Bomb

-         1/8 cup, Lime Juice

-         1 clove of Garlic

-         1/8 Yellow Onion

-         1 Tbsp, Olive Oil

-         1 Tbsp, Salt

-         1 tsp, Sugar

Method:

-         Cut flank steak down to manageable 5” long pieces

-         Slice onion and garlic thin and add to mixing bowl

-         Add all other ingredients except the steak to mixing bowl and combine

-         Add the steak and let marinate at room temperature for 1-2 hours

-         Get your pan on medium high heat

-         Once your pan is hot, add some steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side

-         Be careful not to over crowd the pan. Too much in the pan will cause the steak to steam and not sear

-         Depending on the thickness of your steak, it could take more or less time

-         Grilling the steak works great as well! Make sure your grill is very hot first

-         Let the steak rest for 5 min and then you’re ready to slice

-         Make sure to slice the steak against the grain for maximum tenderness 

-         Add to warm corn tortilla with “Smashed Avocado” and “Lime Marinated Onions” found in our Recipes section!
